Biography of Minister Benjamin Israel
Minister Benjamin Israel Ojonugwa is an anointed Music Minister and Producer. He’s popularly referred to as Minister Ben.
After secondary school education, as expected of every Nigerian child, he proceeded to the university. According to Minister Ben, he wasn’t at all interested in what school had to offer not certain of having a future there but just had to go get the certificate to fulfil all righteousness. Back then, he studied Civil Engineering but was persuaded in his spirit that he would be going into music.
As a young person whose heart was passionate about the things of the Kingdom, Minister Ben was appointed as the music director at his local church. After a while of dedicated service, God spoke to his pastor to release him to be a blessing to his world and so the pastor released him and gave him priestly blessings.
His ministry has been a great blessing to several lives all across the globe and is still a blessing. By God’s grace, they have been able to organise retreats and crusades that have changed the lives of many and left them with remarkable encounters.
In the process of active service to God through the music ministry, on the 1st of October, 2021, Minister Ben launched his own Practical Recording Studio called BIO RECORDS. Bio Records is located at No 121, Panaf drive, opposite Catherina International Academy, Dawaki Extension, Abuja.
But as a human that he is, he has not been without his fair share of challenges. Minister Ben also experienced financial difficulties at a point in his career but looking up to God and practically putting his faith to work at every point in time has bailed him out of financial crisis. Also, as a young minister, he had to deal with the spirit of fear and the spirit of laziness but he has surmounted them to the glory of God.
He is the writer of spirit given songs like GLORIFIED, KEEP ME BURNING AND SECRET PLACE amongst others.
To the glory of God, he has ministered alongside several other Anointed Ministers like THEOPHILUS SUNDAY, CHRIS MORGAN, LAWRENCE OYOR, CHRIS DELVAN, PROSPER OCHIMANA, MOSES BLISS, SOLOMON LANGE amongst many other Anointed Vessels…. Minister Ben has evidently been a beneficiary of God’s mercy and God’s grace and an ever increasing sphere of influence all to the glory of God
When asked about his advise to young music ministers, he said and I quote, “most music ministers just want to blow but not serve and my advice to them is to serve God consistently because service to God is the fastest way to the top; stay consistent; stay hungry for God.”
