The Experience 17 was held on Friday, 2^nd December, 2022 at The Tafawa Balewa Square for the first time since the pandemic and it was an exhilarating experience in God’s presence.
A variety of comedy performances were featured, as well as goodwill messages and intercessory prayers. This year’s edition has once again brought together internationally recognized artistes, luminaries and icons all uniting under the banner of Christ while sharing His universal message of peace to all.

‘The Experience’ is an all-night gospel music concert hosted by Pastor Paul Adefarasin, Senior Pastor of House On The Rock, Lagos, Nigeria.
It started on 1st December, 2006 with an attendance of about 40,000 people and has since grown exponentially to hundreds of thousands of worshippers, making it arguably the largest gospel concert in the world.
Birthed by a God-inspired vision, it provides a platform where all can raise their hearts, hands and voices together as one in unfettered praise to the Almighty irrespective of tribe, denomination, creed or language.

Now in its seventeenth (17th) iteration, ‘The Experience’ has become a favourite destination event for gospel music enthusiasts from all over the nation, the continent and the world, where hundreds of thousands of people gather to worship and praise God from dusk till dawn – regardless of class, race, or religion.

It is highly anticipated by Christians and non-Christians alike, and it averages an annual attendance of over 500,000 people at the Tafawa Balewa Square in Lagos, Nigeria, with masses more watching online from all over the globe, creating a digital footprint in all 7 continents of the world.
